Crazy as it might seem but a few days before the movers came to pick up our household goods we decided the proper break for us would be to do an adventure race. We did a ‘super sprint’ for “very” beginners and the ones that aren’t quite in shape ;-)

Mt.Rose ascend 05/2010 →
Yesterday, we hiked Mt.Rose. who’d ‘thunk’ that you could get sore muscles from a leisurely hike? Well, we ended up hiking 5 1/2 hours and ascended 3,000ft in elevation, one third of the way being in 1 foot deep snow.

This was Tim’s dream - participating in Survivor. He made it to a final selection procedure in LA but then wasn’t picked. The air was out of Survivor. I don’t think we have watched a full episode since then. I personally would prefer Amazing Race, but I think Survivor would have been great for Tim and it would have been entertaining too.
