after 10 months in Iraq

This past weekend:
After an awesome ride in Capital Forrest with my son and a friend I was very happy to spend the rest of the day at the Armed Forces Day Celebration on Joint Base Lewis McChord.
Okay, okay this is a plug!!
My wife started a website that benefits mostly military families being continuously sent to new duty stations. For those unfamiliar with military terms it’s called a PCS (Permanent Change of Station).
The frustrating part of this kind of move is that generally you don’t know anything about your new location. Where do you get the info? There is a lot of statistical information out there and most of the time you’ll have to hunt all over the net for it. Nevertheless, you’ll have a hard time finding insider tips on where to live, where good schools are. Realtors are prohibited to prefer one neighborhood over the other in their showings, for example. That means YOU will have to do your homework.
Long story short. Content is king. I think my wife has a great idea and we hope to generate enough interest to fill the (not quite completed) website.
Please have a look and even if you are not military you can support her by becoming a fan on Facebook and by following her on twitter @mildutystations
