Adventurer Tim
I need one of those days that clears your head…that you look at yourself and feel good about how things are and accepts where you are in life. It gets you excited and puts all the bad stuff into perspective…more importantly, it puts it all in a safe place where it does not taint your view of what’s ahead. A day where your efforts are bearing fruit and something small you did a while back comes back in an immeasurable form that has brought goodness to someone and you can be proud. A day that is followed by another…and another…and it’s infectious to those around you. Unbound to someone else’s plan. Full-knowing of the untainted truth…most importantly, surrounded by those you love.
Flowers- so delicate  after 10 months in Iraq

In the last days of his deployment, a little bit of fun seems appropriate. XDOG events are awesome!

Tim’s Christmas 2009 consists of a morning Jingle Bell Run and a days worth of work. YAY Tim.

Ahh…the sun burning through the early morning dust-dirt-smoke-haze over Baghdad was a lovely shade of rust this morning
